Jack Pearman’s unique walking, slap bass with a rockabilly beat was honed over a lifetime of playing. Growing up in a musical family, Jack got his first upright bass at age 15. He cut his teeth playing all-night jam sessions at bluegrass festivals across the Midwest with the likes of Rhonda Vincent, Ricky Skaggs, Marty Stewart and a young Alison Krauss. Professionally, Jack has been privileged to back up bluegrass greats including Bill Monroe, Mac Wiseman, Jim and Jessie, Ernest Tubb and Harold Morrison. He has been a band member of County Line, Blue Ridge Mountain Boys, Fly By Night, Country Harmony and The Battlefield Bluegrass Express. Jack has logged many studio hours, recorded five albums and played venues from New York to San Antonio.
